I F***ing HATE ACOG sniper rifles!!!

okay, maybe i'm a bit fast with saying hip firing requires no skill... it does!.. but i'm still holding my ground that using the ACOG as it is requires no skill.... for eg... ACOG barrett .50, you just point and rapidly fire, its just like having a stupidly powerful G3 now... whereas, using the traditional scope requires more skill as with any normal sniper rifle!

Me Personally i dont know why everyone Moans all the time ,about Acog Snipers . its there decision to have them and there is nothing you can do about it , i cant wait to get call of duty back !

That's completely realistic. If you can point an SMG at someone from the hip, why not a sniper rifle? What IS unrealistic is that sniper rifles from the hip have minute of BARN accuracy. Seriously, you cant hit a guy at anything farther 3 meters because the shots sometimes come out at a 30 degrees angle, but if you look through the scope you can hit a penny in the server next door with boring monotonity.

Haha you would hate playing against me, M40A3 with ACOG is my favourite class, hip fireing is my favourite way to kill.

Thats what i'm trying to say... but if you add an ACOG to the gun, suddenly, it'll come out straight, not at an angle!!

I under stand barret ACOGs are annoying as people just rapid fire it. M40 takes skill however.

right...you know when you're holding the gun,not aiming, the aim cross on a sniper is VERY wide, thats the range that the bullets will go within,so hipfiring it will be almost impossible.. with the ACOG, the aiming cross is smaller, so more chance of hitting an enemy from the hip.. but, as SAM says, with steady aim, the aiming cross is even smaller! (thats how steady aim works). therefor, its easier to hipfire an ACOG'ed sniper rifle and is not skillful. so there!

hipfiring with non-acog snipers takes no SKILL either, its only a matter of LUCK, unless you're pushing the gun straight into the guy's face, you won't know where the shot will go.
