Racist and trash talk
Hi everyone, First post in this forum, so here goes....
I understand how frustrating this game can be, but I must say that some of the racist comments that come out of some peoples mouths (you know who you are  ) that have absolutely nothing to do with the game can be quite upsetting. I am a broad minded adult and have thrown in the odd  swearword whilst playing myself, but the amount of bad feeling that comes across between different nationalities and race should be stopped.
We are all gamers at the end of the day (some good, some not so good), but we ALL deserve respect from others as we are all trying to do our best.
Sorry rant over. COD 4 is the best  |

Yeah it happens on all games too. I don'tt hink they will be able to stop it?

Welcome to live mate. Try playing GTA and you will have it 10 times worse with that crap. Its wrong but when these idiots are able to hide behind a mic it makes them feel like a big man when in reality they are cowards.

yea i like to chuck a bit of slur at people on cod, especially to americans.

It happens on every game, personally I found Halo3 to be worse than COD4, the worst of all was when GOW was at it's peak, I had to turn the sound off as couldn't stand the 13year old idiots shouting prefanities down their mic that they didn't even understand.

I don't mind some trash talk but I file a complaint if things like race, nationality or sexual orientation are brought into it.
There's just no cause to act like that. You can trash talk without making your self sound like an ignorant douche.

Happens in all competitive games, I do it, you probably do it. We all do it. I don't mean it when I say it (unless I'm telling them how much they suck) but usually I just do it to make them mad and hopefully they play better with their new found hatred of me.

Coxmeister - I totally agree with what you are saying, and it's a losing battle, unfortunately. I never curse at anyone and play with respect, but I think we are way out numbered by the idiots who hide behind the mics.

Sometimes I just turn on my headset just so I don't have to hear it from my speakers. Then when I start the game, I mute those bastards if they are on my team.
