I don't mind it either way. Sometimes played in party chat but game chat doesn't make a difference to me.

(I know it does in modes like mentioned above, but I'm talking as in just hearing somebody...the other bits won't bother me.)

Wait, what? What possible bullshit reason are they going to give for this? I don't play with my friends that much, and when I do, I'm usually talking to at least one other, who isn't playing. Party chat was a very good thing for the fluidity of XBL when it was introduced in the NXE. Taking it away, for whatever reason is a step in the wrong direction. It's like every week I hear something that makes me more annoyed at IW...
