2 player co-op and seperate campaign

4 player co-op in WaW doesn't at all ever come across as a clusterfuck.

I kind of disagree with that. I played the first handful of levels from CoD: WaW on co-op and the typical intense/shocking experience was kind of ruined for me. Although, that's primarily because the guy playing with me beat the game already.

We were approaching that scene in the jungle where you come across a number of dead soldiers scattered across the ground. Although instead of letting me wonder to myself what the hell happened before we got there and soon be scared at the sight of a flare and ambush, just as we were rounding the corner towards them my buddy said 'they're all alive, shoot the bodies' and started firing before the flare shot into the air and they could even get up. That's just one example. It's good from a game-winning perspective, but it was one of those scenes that if you ran through it alone you'd say "that was so cool" once you'd finished. The same level of enjoyment wasn't there.

In saying that, I guess if you played co-op when nobody had beaten the game yet it would be different. Although I can still see certain scenes of the game as a single player experience (Even being called Soap in CoD4 is in and of itself a slight detail that can't be duplicated for 2 or more players. Or if you want to look at a more concerning aspect you could think about the sniper scenes from CoD4), so I understand why IW have taken out certain parts of the game for co-op. Certain parts of the story are focused on one player.

Wanted 4, but I guess 4 wouldn't go too well with MW. 2 is not bad, but 4 if implemented right, is better.
