I got bored quick. Unless someone on my friends list wants to play Zombies, then I play it. Otherwise it collects dust. Which is why Im thinking about using it as a trade here in a few weeks for my pre order of MW2

LOL, that's one of the funniest replies I have ever seen. Appropriate and funny!

A lot of the times, people who hate WaW are people who love COD4 and IW way too much. They would definitely go out of there way to leave a bad review.

I am a gaming newbie. I had never played a videogame for more than 2 hours until CoDWaW.
There is a learning curve for any FPS and this does apply to COD games. It took me time to really familiarize myself with everything there is to learn.
Multiplayer isn't just about reaction time and your ability to shoot accurately. Try playing by yourself against a team of 65 10th prestiges in an objective based game type. Your team won't be communicating, their team will be. You will have to use everything in your mental arsenal to manipulate a good squad. From knowing maps so well that you can take cover from memory while gassed to setting yourself up to successfully intercept an entire team of good players running off their spawn to capture or defend a flag, CoD requires that a person work to develop so many skills necessary to be a "great player". And then once you are a great player, you will become coveted as a team mate, you will find other great players, you will find a game type that suits your personal play style, one you know the ins and outs of, and then you will truly understand why people play WaW every day for hours on end.
If you've gotten bored of the game, you probably haven't spent enough time truly challenging yourself.
So you got a 200+ win streak in free for all. Ever tried playing free for all with your pistol only? With satchel charges and your knife only? With strategically placed bouncing betties and baiting them? Scoped sniping only? Try winning 5 matches in a row with just your knife. It's fun, but 95% of players won't try these things because they get pissed off if they "die too much" or if their "kd ratio goes down".
It's XBL, what do you have to prove? Why use an mp40 all the time to achieve a 1.85 kd ratio if you'll just get bored because you have no experience with any other gun.
My kd ratio is 1.05, I have 45 days played and over 100,000 kills, I'm ranked in the top 300 in the world for wins in domination and top 1,500 in the world for kills. When I first started I would get 8 kills and die 18 times. Now I get 48 kills and die 18 times. I will never get bored of this game, I plan to compete on GB and in my personal favorite game types in Public Matches for a number of years to come.

Epic insert above me. I couldnt have said it better.
But for me, the reason I like "world at war" is in the title. I love WWII games. I just love the era and setting. I am a sniper by heart though, but It really is a rush to get out there with your men with an STG44 and murk the other team getting 35 kills for yourself. I miss that game! soon though, soon.

it was a good game, saddly though it did not improve on MW only copied
but it was for me one of the best FFSs as it is the one I'm best at, I don't think though people are still going to play it online like they did with MW now that MW2 is out
