I've said that before--there's way too many people around the net that feel this way. COD5; won't beat COD4--i'd put money on it. Modern Warfare broke the record for most users online, i can guarantee COD5 won't come close.

Now if TreyArch wanted to take a step in the right direction--a Modern Warfare sequel--then it has a chance. I'm not saying this game will fail miserably--it might--but COD3 was a waste of my time (i continued playing COD2)... TreyArch is already giving this game a bad rep to me for setting it back to WWII.

i mean some WWII games are awsome..i mean look at the Medal of Honor series..that was awsome and the COD series is a lot better..so it could be better than COD4..ya never know..

They had 12 months to make CoD3 under pressure. Now they have 2 years. It will basically be like CoD4 except for these diffrences:

WW2 weapons
vehicles
WW2

It will still have perks and the custimization.

This is gears we're talking about. And ive seen more on GoW2 than i have on CoD5, i might change my mind.

Well this is a stupid statement. CoD4 had more users simply because more people had xbox live. There was a year between CoD3 and CoD4 coming out, in that time xbox live members almost doubled, not to mention the amount of people who bought a xbox just for halo 3. So obviously, it had more people playing it because xbox live was alot more popular.

Infact most people who write people off haven't even played CoD3 because they've been a xbox live member for about 2 weeks, which gives them no right to slag off games that came out last year.

I can't wait for the next COD but i reckon they will put its release forward to 09'. The thing I am dreading the most is the lack of decent sights and scopes.
