You're still mixing two completely different things up. Why would you even try comparing hardware to software? I won't even waste my time explaining why that comparison is so faulty, you should see it yourself.

The fact of the matter is, people had very little complaints with Halo 2. What could be improved on a new system? Let's see, graphics/live playability/a good ending to the trilogy. Did Halo 3 accomplish all those? I'd say so. I can't go more in depth on that because like I said, I wasn't a fan of Halo before this third one. I liked the co-op on Halo 2, but that was pretty much it. I didn't like the Xbox at all because it had very limited software support, and most of the good games on the Xbox were also on PC.

BTW, some other guy said Halo 2 was "sure as hell" better. I'm not just responding to you, notice I said "you guys?". As in you know, plural.

You're still missing the point. GFX and live playability really has shit to do with the game so much as the system and the network. There was nothing wrong with Halo 2? So now why all the flak about Halo 3 because even you know that other than the story there is nothing remotely new about Halo 3 when compared to Halo 2. Nothing about the gameplay changed at all. GFX? Yeah, it has better textures. I guess you could call that an improvement. You remember UT2003. Now look at UT2004. The reason it caught so much heat is because you could play UT2003 and '04 side by side and you wouldn't see or feel a difference at all just like you can do with Halo 2 and 3. I guess I see your point with not needing to improve but you don't give anyone any incentive to play your next installment. That's why series die. Because developers don't try or know how to add anything new to them.
