Halo 3 and Call of Duty are definitely the best. But I'm going with Halo 3. Because it's easy to get into, more fun with friends IMO and doesn't have problems with it's matchmaking compared to Call of Duty.

(not wanting to be an ass) but hows that? last time i played GoW was when they patched it and fooked it up so you cant tell who is hosting the ranked lobby or something along those lines, even then it was ok, with the few tiny maps limited weapons etc, it was fun at first but it to me it doesn't have the life span of COD
