An iPhone that runs on the 3G network. Basically, faster and better. They didn't put 3G on the current as it could hurt battery life.

No, 3G is a speed. Right now it's the fastest. Basically, the iPhone now runs on dial-up unless you're in a Wi-Fi hotspot. On 3G it will be highspeed as long as you can connect to a 3G network. I think 3G is standard everywhere except US. Will still be on ATT.
