Woo Hoo...finally WON a Microsoft XBOX Live Sweepstakes!
Just got a call from the Wifey. Apparently a box was delivered to me today with a letter inside congratulating me on winning a Second Place prize in the Microsoft XBOX Live GTA IV Launch Day Sweepstakes. Having done so I got a Limited Edition Rockstar GTA IV bat. I totally forgot about this as I did this back in April. Can't remember if it was a play and win sweeps but either way, here's proof these things do work at least some of the time. Anyway...I've attached a pic...although not my actual bat it looks the same!
Any other X3F members win one of these? Apparently they gave out 2000 of them.
I haven't decided if I'm going to let it go just yet, but if I do, I'll post it here at X3F first. If anyone is interested, watch the marketplace.

Lucky you! I've entered sooooo many of those contest on XBL and haven't won anything...That bat is sick though, beat people with a GTA:IV bat! Now that's gangsta!

Actually, I think it's just a matter of odds. I enter more than 1000 sweeps and contests each year...of those I probably win something 20% of the time. BUT, this is the first ever MS contest I've won so that's an accomplishment for me.

lol....looks like they bought the cheapest bats they could find and used a silk screen to put the logo on there
anywho......i think im currently entered or have entered at least 4-5 sweepstakes in the last few weeks

They probably did use the cheapest they could find. Afterall, I think the bat will most likely be put on most people's shelves. I don't know what I'm going to do yet...we'll see.
