The computers are alright the difficulties are challenging they will all gang up on you at the end if you are close to winning but online is pretty fun if you can get a group of people who won't quit.

Each game can take 2-6 hours. Depending how fast you play, and how to go about playing. There is a save feature you dont have to complete it in one sitting.

I actully came very close to buying it so I could play my friend online. I'm a fan of the series and put an order in but cancelled it because my friend bought it and found out it's VERY trimmed. It has small maps that aren't customizable and can only have 5 civilizations including you. I tried the demo and it's still a fun game and I understand why they trimmed it down so much but it just wasn't for me. I like to have bigger games and customize maps. Also, things like the Tech Tree is trimmed ALOT and resources like the oil and spices and things you had to work for and trade other nations for is done away with

a lot of people is saying that the game is very fast.. you finish between 2,3,4 hours
i would like to know more about it.. you guys mean from start ancient age to space age takes aournd 2-6 hours ? i think that depends how you play right ? i can take all the time in this world to build my army etc... or the game runs faster ? i play a lot of civ 4 , and played the demo and really liked. just want to make sure worth putting the money for civ revolution instead keeping civ 4 . what you guys think ??

I have found if you horse rush in the beginning of the game you can win in Ancient very easily...and complete it in a 30 hour. But a normal full game is 4-6 and it will end in Industrial or Modern depending on how fast you are.

I'm going to rent it first. Along with Supreme Commander, Halo Wars, and EndWar. Most stratagey games are rent first for me.

Rent Civ Rev first, it is amazing. I had my doubts about a good strat game on the console, since all have sucked before this.
It is amazing, purely addicting too.
