Civ 4 Comparison
I have been a huge fan of the series and have spent alot of time playing all the games. Should I buy this one, or just keep playing Civ 4?

All depends.
Rev. is very stream lined and dumbed down. You no longer have to play those 20+ hours marathon games. These games only take avg. 4 hours.
There is no tax adjustments or revenue. You either decide your city to do research or gold. Less units, no stealth bomers or marines. Limited trade between countrys, can only trade tech. No open boarders, or map trading.
Some of the buildings are the same but offer a little differance to Civ4. Only one Nuke in a game, how ever gets the Mannhaten Project 1st.
They may sound bad to Civ4 users, but makes playn Civ on the console a joy. If there is anything I can remember I'll post again.

+rep, thanks.
It does sound disappointing, but I understand how it would be hard to get all those in depth things into the console version.

I'm a die hard fan of the Civ Series (since the first one), and i love this one, even though it's dumbed down and quicker (i usually play epic games).
Give it a try, you'll love it
