Always put it on 30sec turns. You may not finish everything you need in that time, but so will the other guys. Keeps the game moving. Once everyone does there turn you can still change your city stuff as your waiting for the others. Plus I'm pretty sure you learn Techs a lot quicker online to. Thats why I say the game should only take 3 hours.

alright sounds good... BTW are acheivments easy? As in would they help my gamerscore lol? (not easy in the sense as avatar lol)

They are very do able. The hardest ones are the Diety Achievements which are for beating it on the hardest level. But as soon as you learn the game, its no that bad.

Check my Achievement thread for for ifo on these.
