Well, I haven't updated this thread in a little while...mainly because.....well, I don't find myself using OSX.
Actually today my SSD drive came in for my desktop...so I've actually disconnected my EFI-x module and unplugged the OSX hard drive as I am going to be benchmarking and testing this SSD drive for awhile.
I'm sure that I will start using OSX again before too long....but right now without a doubt it doesn't hold a candle to Windows 7 for me.

I used to have a Mac. I went from Windows XP(old desktop) --> OS X Tiger(Macbook) --> OS X Leopard(same macbook) (not Snow Leopard) --> Windows Vista and now I'm dual booting Vista with Windows 7 (XPS M1530)
Mac's are cool, and OS X is very nice if you have a Mac or build a good Hackintosh.

I really like OSX personally, just based on little random things and it makes me not want to go back to using Windows.
The major things I like are Expose (with Hot Corners, in particular; I don't use the keyboard commands), the fact that you can close all windows of a program and still have it run in the background, and the fact that Widgets are all on their own separate screen that I can get to with Hot Corners.
Is the task bar on Windows 7 more like the Dock in OSX? And does Windows 7 have anything like Hot Corners and Expose?

Think of the Windows 7 task bar as a mixture between OSX's dock and Expose, moulded all into one. You mix that with the gesture based window management (drag to tile windows or maximise them) and I found it hugely faster to switch between apps than on a mac. The alternative to the "hot corner" is the bottom-right of the taskbar. It will hide all other windows temporarily to show the desktop, complete with widgets.

Are you still playing about with this pparks?
I stumbled across this earlier and it reminded me of your thread
Rebel EFI : Psystar Releases for Mac OS X Installation on PC | Apple
It appears to do what you're little box of tricks does, but then again i could be wrong, im still trying to figure it out, i'd give it a try but i don't suppose it would work on my motherboard...

I honestly haven't fired it up one time since I got that SSD drive. In fact, the hard drive running OSX is physically unplugged from inside of the box. It just doesn't seem that OSX is really my thing. But I'll keep it around, who knows, I might want to play with it again at some point. But honestly, I'd just rather use Linux over OSX. Call me crazy.

Yeah, I don't get the whole "OSX is so great" concept. I played around with it, it's alright. It has issues and problems as well. The real downside that it has is cost...and Apple hardware is just expensive. That's what keeps me from further using or considering it.

I suppose you need to have the Mighty Mouse and the Keyboard to have a full experience.
Are you familiar with Hot Corners, Expose and Spaces?
Having the squeeze buttons on the mouse set to Expose works wonderfully...
It may sound silly, but having a the keyboard and mouse really makes a difference.

The mighty mouse is the biggest piece of shit hardware I've ever come accross.
I used to support Mac users that had macs from the Apple II days, and even they agree.
With every new Mac purchase was a Logitech wireless desktop, with a REAL 3 button mouse you can actually get your hand around without causing long term damage to your wrist.
