I own MS Office though. Through work I got the Enterprise edition for $20. For some reason it's not given me any problem installing it on two laptops so far, figure it won't with the netbook either. So, saying you did have Office 07, w/Windows 7 on a 1.66mhz netbok w/1g RAM, which would you install?

I believe that you are allowed 3 installs with a copy of Microsoft Office. Generally speaking the home use programs (HUP), usually only allow 1 install (legally)...but technically I think you fall under the same 3 install rule.

If I had a choice, I'd probably go MS office because it's more compatible with the business world and the docs that you are likely to receive from somebody.

However, at my last job where we also had the $20 HUP, I still skipped it and used Open Office as I didn't feel MS Office was worth $20 at home. But if you have already spent the $20 and can install it one more time, why not.
