As of now my laptop has 2Gb of ram and i plan on adding another 2GB sometime soon.. maybe in a couple weeks. thats why im so undecided between 64bit and 32bit. i always used 32bit Os. I think i might stick with 32 bit because i dont know if my sound card or my video card or any card has 64bit drivers.
since its a laptop i might as well leave it at 32bit and not go all out.

ill be getting the Win 7 Pro 32bit.

thanks for all the info Pparks1

Then you will only really want another 1gb of ram since x32 can't read all of the 4gb. I'd be surprised if you don't find x64 drivers for all your hardware, especially in a laptop which is all brand name stuff and generally well supported.

I'm not too bothered that the upgrade can clean install like the full version, I paid less for full than most will pay for their upgrades.

Has anyone managed to rip an iso from their official 7 discs? I was thinking of dual booting the netbook with 7 and XP, but as netbooks don't have disc drives an install from usb would be only option (I'm not buying an external dvd drive).
