You'll find the PCI express version of that card is actually cheaper. Shops should be fine with exchanging it for you. Anyway, I have that exact card in my PC and it's awesoem for an AGP card. You'll be impressed with it no matter which way you go. This card is the best AGP card available and there will be no better ones released for AGP. It's the top.
If you're getting an SLI board, then get an Nvidia card that's SLI capable. No use getting a video card that can't make the most of the motherboard you're getting.
Get yourself an 8600GT that's SLI capable, and then later on when you can afford it, buy another one and link them for a performance boost at a good price.
I don't like SLI personally, but 2 midrange 8xxx series cards will run quite well with DX10 games.

The 2nd computer is better. The CPU is better, the graphics card isn't that much lower and it has a gig of ram. Most Windows computers these days require about a gig of Ram. Any less and it runs pretty crappy.

Are you sick of kids on Forza, racing round the wrong way?
Do you dream of a proper challange with decent guys?
