It is ok Parks, Thanks for the links Benniemc. This thing is taking forever to finish I been on this for about more the 2 hours. If I cancel this defrag if it doesn't end before I go to bed nothing will be messed up right. I just canceled it, I will run it all day tomorrow so I know I will have time.

If I have a file in AVI do I need to do anything to be able to burn it to a DVD? Also, how much do DVD's hold?

What burning software do you have? I know Nero supports AVI burning. The capacity varies from around 4GB to around 9.5GB depending on the type of DVD.

I don't know. Whatever came on Vista. I also have the DivX and VLC player.
If I can burn it in AVI format, will it play on my DVD? The DVD does play dvd-rw's.

I'm not sure if Windows DVD Maker supports AVI, although I expect it does. They should play on your DVD player; I know Dan has burned AVI's to DVD's and they play on his.

Does Nero cost money? If so, do you know of any free apps I could use?

Yup, Nero costs about $80. I'll have a look for some free apps, there's almost certainly something that'll suit your needs.
Edit: Have a look at DeepBurner. Not sure whether it supports AVI's as the description doesn't mention formats, but it's free and only a 2MB download.

How much of the quality do you use? The videos are good quality now. Will they go alot lower? Same with audio.

i know someone on this forum had a antec 900 case as well. so i have a few questions for you. first off, where do i attach the psu to the case? i dont know where to screw anything! the manual is really confusing in this. it tells was telling me to screw in standoff for the mobo that were already there. and every time it tells you to screw something in it just tells you to use the screws provided when there is about 3 different types of screws! apart from that its a very good quality case
