Vista did the same for my DVD-RW.
You could try rolling back the drivers: Press the Windows key+R>type 'devmgmt.msc' and press enter>Under 'DVD/CD-ROM Drives' right click the drive>Properties>Driver>Roll Back Driver.

Alternatively you could hunt down a driver/firmware update from the manufacturers site.

Hi guys, am new here.

I keep having a problem where my xbox 360 keeps losing connection to my pc.

My xbox 360 is connected to my d-link adsl n1+ mimo router via an ethernet cable. Which is in port 2. My main pc which i'm streaming from is in port 1.

While watching a film from my pc through xbox 360, after about 5 - 30 mins, it says connection to pc lost.

Any ideas how to solve problem??

It's also keeps signing me out of xbox live too after between 5 and 20mins.

Please help.

P.S. I also have tversity and have tried streaming both straight to pc and through tversity. I dont have media center pc but have downloaded the extender software and the pcsetup stuff.

Alrite guys, I need some help about getting a new PC. I have been looking at This PC due to the price as I'm on a pretty low budget. I'll probably be getting the memory upgraded to 2GB, I also want to know will the on board Grapics be able to run Counterstrike : Source smoothly. If not could somebody recommed me a graphics card that will work on that PC and run CSS smoothly please.

Thanks in advance, Butler

EDIT : If you could pick a graphics card of this site It would be alot easier thanks!

well that PC isn't for sale anymore so i cant check price etc

but tbh it was a celeron which is quite an old model now, id go for at least a dual core, probably even a dual core 2 and make the 2gb ram a definite if you're running vista, it takes up just under a gig of ram just to run itself!

Yeah mate, I posted this like 2 week ago. I've just made one on the dell site. Here it is :

Intel® Viiv™ Core™ 2 Duo E4500 Processor (2.20GHz,800MHz,2MB cache)
Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium
2048MB 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [2x1024]
250GB (7200rpm) Serial ATA Hard Drive with 8MB DataBurst™ cache 256MB ATI® Radeon™ HD 2400 XT graphics card
OPTICAL DRIVE 16x DVD +/- RW Drive

I'll be doing some gaming on it like Counterstrike source. Good price for me really £359.
