hey guys, i heard that ATI 4850 and 4870 are out.
Are they cheaper, better, less electrocity, less heat compared to Nvidia 8800 series?
if so by how much?

When i scroll down a page on FF it shows lines that move up the page.

The HD4850 looks like good value for money, it whipes the floor with the 9600GT.
Powercolor HD4850 puts AMD in the game - The INQUIRER
There aren't any good benchmarks about I can find for the 4870, some bunch of fuck wits faked them, and now google is full of bad results.

Not a bad card at all for $199.00USD, at it will go in an XPS desktop.

Just a quick question I got this ( Error Code: 0x80070057 ) error code here from windows updates when trying to update my xp drivers for my graphics card. I found this site to fix it but is it safe to do that first step seemed like it can be dangerous. 0x80070057 Windows Update error - FIND a Solution HERE in this article!

Shouldn't be an issue, you can just put the folder back if it causes any issues.

Ben i tried it but it didnt work. It doesnt matter really much since I have the latest drivers already there just the ms ones.
