Well it was a screen that came with a deal my parents bought with a computer, now parts taken and put into my rig. I ended up with this screen. I might buy a second screen and have this as the second one. Thanks Ben.

Quick question, If I buy a 160GB 2.5" External HDD how much space will I actually have? Around 140GB?

Do you plan in formatting it in FAT32 or NTFS? You'll lose a little more useable space NTFS but you'll be able to save files over 4GB.
Also, 160GB drives are actually 149GB drives when you do the calculations (1024MB = 1GB, not 1000MB=1GB like the HDD manufacturers would have you believe), so you're pretty much right. You'll have a bit over 140GB when you take out the overheads.

-"Ok, the only solution left is to headbutt it as hard as you can repeatedly"
-"Hold on............ Aaah, that fixed it, thanks!"

Let's meet in the middle then and say 145GB usable space.

I have a general computer question for you guys.

I have Spysweeper for spyware protection and once in a while it will find spy cookies such as "tacoda cookie" or "yieldmanager cookie." My question is, what do they actually do and how you get them?

These are mostly harmless but can sometimes be used in evil ways.
What these cookies do is track which sites you're going to so they get an idea of your browsing habits. More often than not they don't collect any personal information at all.
But it's good to clear them regularly, just in case.
