I have seen the Novell products from a user perspective but I've never managed one myself.
I reckon they're running something like Novell Identity Manager. From what I can see it's an alternative to Active Directory, which handles all the user accounts, roaming profiles, and so on.
That's my guess, anyway!

They're probably using Novell Zenworks to manage remote package management for software installs and remote admin.

I might buy a new laptop tomorrow and I need to know if AMD or Intel is better because there's these two Compaq laptops that are near identical except for the processors.
One of them is an Intel Pentium Dual-Core Mobile Processor T2390. The other is an AMD Athlon X2 Dual-Core Processor.

Is there a big price difference?
Personally, Ive always gone for Intel - habit I guess. Nevertheless, most of the notebooks we have at work are Athlon, and they run just the same.
The Intel is a 1.83GHz running on a 533MHz Bus Speed, with a 1MB cache.
Whats the speed of the Athlon you've seen?

The intel one is 30 bucks more at 429.99. I don't know what's the speed of the AMD processor. It just says AMD Athlon x2 64.
EDIT: There is a 500 dollar compaq laptop that has AMD Turion x2 RM-70 Dual-core Mobile. It also has 3g memory, 200gb harddrive, and everything else is like the other two laptops. I was wondering if this is a better deal?

Intel makes better dual core cpus than AMD does. If I had to choose between the two I would pick the Intel chip.

I might not do it now but can anyone give me ideas to make a gaming machine from around 0 to 800 at the very max. I would ratter pay 600 or 700. I want something that can almost max out Crysis. Thanks guys. I want to build it too and parts from newegg if that helps.

Hmmmm....let's see what I can do for ya. Maxing out Crysis and only spending $600-$700 for the entire rig is almost mutually exclusive restraints. Because the video card is so important, but will be costly, to stay within your budget I'll have to spec out an AMD 64 X2 CPU instead of an Intel Core 2 Duo or higher CPU which is a far better CPU...but raises the bar too much on cost. Also, you really will need Vista and DX10 support to max out the game...so you really have to upgrade to 3 or 4GB of RAM...because 2GB is just not likely going to cut it.
$77. AMD 64 X2 5400+
Newegg.com - AMD Athlon 64 X2 5400+ Brisbane 2.8GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM2 65W Dual-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops
$89 Asus M2N-E nForce 570 mobo
Newegg.com - ASUS M2N-E AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 Ultra MCP ATX AMD Motherboard - AMD Motherboards
$149 (after $20 rebate) Sapphire Radeon 4850 with 512MB video
Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100245L Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards
$69 G.Skill 4GB DDR2 800 RAM kit
Newegg.com - G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory
$25 Lite-ON DVD Burner

$59 250GB Western Digital SATA2 Hard Drive
Newegg.com - Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD2500AAKS 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - Internal Hard Drives
$89 (after $50 rebate) Antec Sonata III case with 500Watt PSU
Newegg.com - Antec Sonata III 500 Black 0.8mm cold rolled steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 500W Power Supply - Computer Cases
$99 Microsoft Vista Home Premium
Newegg.com - Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 32-bit English 1pk for System Builders DSP OEI DVD - Operating Systems
$656 before shipping and after rebates ($70)
Personally, if I were building this computer...I would go for a minimum of an Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 Wolfdale...but that raises CPU price from $77 to $164. (+$87). (And you would have to go with a suitable mobo for an Intel chip which may or may not be more than $89.) I would also go with an ATI Radeon 4870 instead of a 4850..but that raises the price from $149 to $260 (+110). And I would always put in a true sound card (Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio 7.1 is $55. These changes would increase the box cost by $252...bringing grand total up to $908...which is OVER BUDGET.

Thanks Parks looks good. Is building it really that hard saw a few videos on it and it doesn't look that bad. I mean if I were to get Crysis I would only use like 1680x1050 but I probably wouldnt. But yeah I would want a intel cpu for sure.
