This might be the wrong section. But i was going to get a HD TV. On the specifications it says it has a PC input, but no DVI input. What is the difference. I need the TV to be usable for my computer also kinda like as a monitor. >_>

I've got a question about BIOS's.
If bios are specially made for each system (spec wise, not individual pc wise), what do you do for a custom made PC? do you build your own bios?

It comes on the motherboard. Besides changing options in it, you can't really customise it at all.
Unless, of course, you're really damn good with computers at the hardware controller level, but not many people are.
But to put it simply, the BIOS is what controls the motherboard, and the motherboard is what controls the rest of your PC. Fuck with that and you can permanently screw it up, requiring a new board. I wouldn't recommend it.

How good are these graphics? Will they play COD1 and Counterstrike: Source?

Yeah, it should be able to handle games that old at a playable framerate. May not be able to turn on any graphics options, though.

PC input = VGA input
If your laptop has a VGA out, then just connect a VGA cable between it and your TV. For audio just connect a 3.5 to 3.5 audio cable. If it has DVI out just use a DVI to VGA Adapter.

I have that graphic specification on my laptop and it can run Age of Empires III fine, so I'm sure it'll run the two games you mentioned.

Xbox live
My son has just bought the wireless connection for xbox live, we have spent 4 days trying to get this up and running!! Unfortunately i am the most technical person in my house and i am self taught. When my son tries to set this up the message that appears on his screen is that it won't accept a static IP address. We have a BT homehub and i need to know if i need to buy a router also, all i know is this has been a complete nightmare with the blind leading the blind. Can you help please help?
