XP, I think it's built into Vista, you can try and install it though.

I was reading something yesterday about setting up network printers, and it mentioned that the easiest way to do this with HP printers was to use telnet. After reading this I noticed that my router (Netgear DG834) has the option to open port 23 in the Services tab, but afaik such inexpensive routers don't support telnet themselves. So, is this a feature so that peripherals such as printers can be configured with telnet via the router, or am I missing something?

I was wondering if somebody could help me out, lol.

I have Windows XP, and this computer has been acting up for a while. It restarts out of no where and it won't let me download AVG or anything. If anyone could help me out that'd be great, just PM me or hit me up on xbox live and walk me through. xJamesusx

Sounds like you need to clean install the machine, but it's not that easy to walk you through it though.

Yeah, that would be your best bet.

My advice:

Reinstall Windows.

Install AVG 8.01

Install Windows XP SP3 and Install any extra security patches.

Install Firefox 3.0 RC1 and stop using IE as your primary web browser!

Yeah, I reinstalled windows yesterday and tried installing AVG. Lets just say installing AVG didn't go so well. You know of any other virus programs that might help out? Once I get rid of the virus, I'll install SP3 and the security patches so those files don't corrupt and mean I have more to clean up on my computer.

Firefox is always a must.

Everything there usually requires a keygen, but is there any programs you recommend?
