I don't think so because I had FF and Safari running at the same time and I was fine. I would use Safari more if I knew how to adjust the scrolling and text.

So does this safari block adds? i mean now, i see non on this page and VERY VERY few any other place.

I stand corrected. IGN loads exceptionally faster on Safari.

Wow this is a lot nicer for streaming videos. I cannot play anything HD from gametrailers on FF or IE without it being all chopped up.

I dont think its any better than firefox.
It actually seems a bit slower for me than firefox

While mostly fixed now, when safari first came out for Windows it was riddled with security exploits and bugs. Safari On Windows A Security Risk
Just a warning, be careful with any new software that hasn't been rigorously tested by end-users
