Laptop not recognizing Wireless card
For about a week, when I turned my laptop on, I had to go into my system settings and restart the card, and now the computer is not recognizing it at all. When I go to "hardware" the card isn't even showing up in the list. I tried using the hardware install wizard, but that didn't pick it up either. Any suggestions?

Calm down Joel, I hadn't even seen the thread!
Not good.
Turn the machine off. Take out the Battery.
With it disconnected from the power, with the battery out, press the power button to turn it on. This will discharge all built up power from the main board and components.
Wait a sec, and put it back together, and fire it up. It may come back up, it may not. (The WIFI I mean...)
If it doesn't, it's fucked and have it replaced under warranty if the machine still has it, otherwise get your self a USB adapter!

What operating system?
Go to Start, Run, then type "devmgmt.msc"
Look for your device. Do you see it?

Well, neither worked, it's not showing up the list of devices. Fortunately it's still under warranty.
On another note, if I'm taking it back, do I need to worry about what's on the HDD? Jack sparrowed movies/music etc?

Nah should be fine, they've just got to replace a card in the bottom of the machine.
What brand is the machine?

That sucks. Without being there, it is a pain in the ass to describe to someone things to try to fix it. I could never be a tech support person.
