Not to hijack your thread but I actually just popped Crysis into my new computer. I have q6600 quad core, 4gb Ram, dual Nvidia 8800GT and I can blow crysis out of the water. I am maxed out, and I'm destroying this game. Now I need to find out how to display FPS because I am curious to see and I am getting no slow down whatsoever.
As for your machine if you head over to the Crysis website it will scan what you have and let you know if you can or not. Good luck, this game is nuts!

Fraps is a program that will show you, that or there is a command for it r_displayinfo 1

Bring up the console its one of the usual keys.

Take a look round here for custom config files, they make the game look much better than max and a lot actually run better.

How big is that monitor? the case looks HUGE, i must say i do prefer a larger case and that XPS does look pretty nice.

22" monitor. The case is 9 inches wide, 22 inches high and 23 inches deep. Also sitting at 50lbs.

Woah, pretty big then, get some nice speakers for it if you have a decent sound card in there really adds to the gaming when you can shake the floor.
