hi im in the process of trying to fix a system, that has the 3 red lights of death, before i start taking the thing too bits, i want to test the power supply, to see if its at fault. however our 360 prem power brick connector doen't fit into the 1 i'm trying to fix, so at a guess they've either changed it or is the lead i have a very old 1? does anyone have a core and prem system that have the same connector or are they different.

i have checked the harddrive on the other system and eliminated that from the fault checks as it works fine.

please help someone im stuck...

found out the problem with the system is this case, ram chips are dead, tried everything, replaced and remove all excess paste connecting chips and heatsinks, brought the screw set to replece the xclamps all to no avail .
but it was a very early system that had been played to death.
