That's a pretty ignorant statement. A lot of people are perfectly content on spending a third of the money on an AMD counterpart, while usually not sacrificing much in the way of performance.

I'd hold off on that buy to be honest. You could save a little more and build something more powerful, and that will have a little longevity attached to it.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the helpful comments. My price range is around $600 max, only game I really play on pc is Call of Duty UO, which is pretty old and wouldn't take too powerful of a machine.

Sorry for the double post, but I just wanted to say thanks to Whippy for all of that info at newegg, it will be very useful. But 1 question, Shike mentioned the case and psu combo, is there any good ones you can recommend? That'd help with price...cause I need to buy a OS also.

Would probably work just fine...decent PSU....enough for what your going to do with it.
Hm....keep reading reviews, ill look at it more a bit later.
