all depends what you class as a life. When I played wow last year I would log on mon+tue+wed and sometimes at the weekend. Thursday+friday were drunken nights 99% of the time (I definately recommend London for a night out, my favorite city in europe ), and the weekends were spent going to see m8s around the country usually.

I also played football and tennis every week, was in a local brass band, went to church every week and was in a full time job (placement year in the middle of uni). This year I have to admit I have very little life but I aint playing wow and the main reason is the stress of finals lol.

I hate to be frank but I doubt most people fit the same amount into their weeks.

The point im trying to make is that you cant just pigeon hole people (if you will look back a few pages you will see my list of chars is not short!). In comparison 1 guy on cod4 on xbox has played over 60 days which worked out at over 7hours a day average since release. That I classify as no life.

ah well sorry for the ramble, Im just not a huge fan of sterotypes. WoW has 10 million active users, a game doesnt become that popular by catering just to the no lifers - in fact in the mmo world WoW seems to be classified as very watered down.

/ramble off

Thats bullshit, fiorst of have you played the game?
Second, um if i had no life i wouldn't be posting here, going out with friends, walking my dog or spending time with my family. I might get my longer playing times while i try to get something but i don't play it and disregard anything else.

Now thats me finished with that post.

dunno bout that man....addictive yes, but not very expensive at all.
Yes, but that's 20 + 15 for one game, Each month!

Also, why didn't you include the price of the PC if you included the price of the Xbox? And not everyone buy's a new game every month...

Let me correct this.

The thing is, WoW is good/big enough to justify it being more expensive than Live.
Ive had a better experience with that game ALONE, than i have the whole of xbox live and its games.

They keep the game fresh as well by adding content all the time for free as well.
Not only that but WoW player will know that you can play WoW and nothing else for a long time, saving you money on game purchases.

i played wow for like a month and found it boring. you are constantly just running about from one side of the world to another. its long and tedious and not really much action. it's really repetitive and the graphics are crap. i found guild wars much better (even though it's stupidly short). but it doesn't have monthly fees and theres more action. just my opinion anyway.
