Linux - Ubuntu - Dual Boot

Okay, so tomorrow I am getting a new rig (located in sig) and am installing XP on it. Was hoping to put a 20gig partition for linux ubuntu, was wondering how I should take this. Install Windows XP first? Or Linux?

Also, where do I download Ubuntu?

Also, do I have to use a DVD burner or is a CD burner fine?

Installing a Dual-Boot with Windows and Ubuntu

That guide work?

Go with XP first.
Ubuntu will automatically detect there's XP installed on your system and will create the boot menu for you, whereas XP won't. You can either make the partition while installing Windows XP, or go the easier method:
-Install XP, taking up all the drive space (default)
-Run Ubuntu Installer
-When the CD asks, click on "Create partitions from free space"
This will resize the partitions without deleting anything.

Funnily enough, you can get Ubuntu from the following page:
Ubuntu Home Page | Ubuntu
CD is fine.

install XP first, and Ubuntu will handle the rest

Just when your partitioning the disk , leave 20Gb at the end un allocated, and tell Ubuntu to use the rest of the free space.

Thanks for the heads up man!

"Check here if you need the alternate desktop CD. This CD does not include the Live CD, instead it uses a text-based installer"
