Talking 3 19' Monitors or 1 28'?

I am either going to buy 3 19' Samsung LCD's or 1 Hanns G 28' LCD. Can't decide. I will be doing photoshop and audio/video editing, which is why I can't decide. Supposedly adding more than 1 monitor improves work efficiency.

The Hanns G monitor has an HDMI port with 1080p. Help me decide.

Here are the 19's.

And here is the 28'.

if you've got the space and don't mind extra screens, go for three, I know that having an extra screen helps a lot with cad stuff.

I'd reckon the 3 would help with video editing, You could have the video playing on 1 screen and the editing on the other.

I use a 24" screen and a tablet for all my MAYA and Photoshopping needs. 3 screens seems a bit overkill and I think two will hit the spot just right. I'd try for 2 22" screens. Should be more then enough. Or for photoshop get 1 large screen and have a tablet to go with it.

Go for the 3 screens it's horribly useful for video editing. Whenever I am editing I always use both of my screens.

Quick question, how do you plan on hooking up 3 monitors? Last time I checked, most video cards only have space for two..... I would personally go with the giant 28 myself.

Dear god, for design STAY AWAY from 22" monitors like the plague, they are SHIT, so shit, its unreal, the colours are no good for design at all.
Other than that i fully agree with Chuck, get yourself a nice 24" (not a cheappy shitty TN panel like the 22"s because that defeats the object, get a Dell, samsung, BenQ, Nec something like that along with another secondary monitor.
I run a 24" next to a 17" and it works VERY well, although more space would be nice on the 17, for a short time i ran two 24s which was a dream but takes up a huge amount of space and is a bit overkill(but get it if you can).
However a 24" and a 20" is rather nice, my friend runs a 24" dell and has a 20" samsung TV next to it, he uses it both as a TV and a second monitor, and since most his work is done on the 24 the 20 does not need to be as colour accurate and is simply there for tool pallets and other things, its a nice setup i am really thinking about since i don't have a TV in my room.
