Problems with XP
XP is being gay. basically, I have no task bar. all the icons show up on the desktop, but the taskbar doesn't. there is a small gray bar at the bottom of the screen where it's supposed to be, but when i right click on it to unlock it so I can enlarge it, unlock taskbar is grayed out .


also, there are some files on the POS that i want to keep, but for some stupid god damn reason, I can't copy or cut any of my files!

please help.

Try this, Right click desktop > Properties > Themes > then choose the XP theme again. If not I don't know.

didn't work. I recently had to recreate the registry from xp recovery console if that helps.
