All you do is once you have backed up files. Insert disk, reboot. Select Clean install, select partition to install in, select when prompted quick format NTFS or FAT32. It will then install and when completed just install software and drivers.

You don't want FAT32 no matter what. It doesn't support filesizes above 4gb

You can get tools like Sync Toy to make this job a bit easier.
You have another internet connected machine at home, so you can get help if need be while re-formatting your current machine?
