I have never gotten a virus from Limewire and i have downloaded quite a few things. I am having the same problem but I am network impaired so i just wait for a while then it eventually connects.

1. Limewire isn't full of viruses, only if you're dumb enough to fall for the self renaming files that change their name to whatever you typed in the search.
2. Torrents aren't dangerous either, only if you're using questionable sites. Some have those self-renaming files too, others just suck. Use Demonoid or Waffles.fm
3. Limewire works well for downloading individual songs every once in a while but for a mass downloading spree you need to get on one of the sites i mentioned. Good quality, huge file library and safe.

And also Quagmire, my windows firewall says that it's allowing Limewire.

Aren't you afraid of the police knocking on your door?
I've never gotten a virus on torrents or limewire. If you download something you have 2 options.. scan it, but the best 1st option is to use you brain. If you go to download a movie and it's only 23 kb.. then it's a fake. After you download your downloads, I would recommend you scanning it so you know it's completely safe.

I'm very new to this site, so it's normal not to see everyone. It's just cool to see people supporting the show
