WMP 11 and Xbox 360 issue.

Ive searched all over the internet to see if anyone has had the same problem as me with their xbox and home network.. i have the xbox and computer set up to where i can play media files off of my win xp sp2 machine. everything was working fine until recently. The sharing service sometimes just decides to stop and then the xbox says ive lost connection. so when i look at my pc there is a system error that shows up (im not sure what it says right now because at work) i do know it says something about the sharing service stopping.. so i have to restart wmp 11... and now to even further my problems just yesterday videos that worked in the past no longer work, or if they do the video is very choppy and the audio skips. is anyone else having these sorts of problems? if so how did you fix it.. im completely lost. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. thank you!
