Audio with VGA cable?

I have a authentic Microsoft VGA cable to plug my 360 into my LCD monitor, but can' get sound. I have a pair of really crappy dell speakers, that I don't really like anyway. I'm looking for a good pair of speakers, with great sound to play 360 on and listen to music. I'm not looking to spend any more than 150$ but can go up to around 200$. Is there any speakers you could recommend that would work with the VGA cord, and sound great in my room.

well for one VGA wont transfer sound, so I am assuming u mean with the 3.5mm jack to RCA, in which case ANY speakers will work fine
