can't get my resolution upto 1360X768??

I'm connecting with VGA and my Plasma supports upto 1360X768 and also I thought that i'd mention that i've had the resolution upto that before with this computer on this tv but I fried my motherboard and so I ended up getting a new mobo and processor. No fresh install of Vista though like I asked the guy!! My point is....maybe there are certain drivers that have to be installed for certain components that were there before but now arent because of the new hardware in my computer. I have the latest Nvidia drivers so the vidweo card is not the problem, could it be other drivers (for the mobo or CPU) that are not updated that could be causing this problem. Also thought i'd mention that I was using a different monitor since I got my computer back and yes it did only go to a resolution of 1024X768, so now I hooked back up the monitor that I usually use (it achieves 1360X768) and it is still not going up to 1360X768, now it only reaches 1280X1024 (better than before I suppose). This tells me that it's something to do with my computer and not my monitor and plasma as I have used both displays before and they have achieved 1360X768. Hope that's not too confusing for you guys..sorry. Oh one more thing, tried to hook up to my plasma and restart my computer so that it would auto detect the res and it still wouldn't give my 1360X768??HELP!!
