i haven't hooked up my new desktop to my tv but my laptop has been multiple times. 32" HDTV btw.

I hook my laptop up to my living room TV to play games on. It's a crappy TV but the screen is bigger. Quality is better on my laptop as the screen is HD.

I hook mine up to either a 42' LCD Panasonic Widescreen, or a 42' "Soyo" LCD Widescreen, but yes, i hook it up to one of the two.

well i am not using a 42" SD TV so that doesn't matter and i think i will get better resolution on my Panasonic 50" Plasma with 1,000,000:1 ratio
