Why in the world would you build a budget PC for your Mom and then put a Q6600 quad core processor into it? Also, what simple computer task is your Mom going to do which would require 4GB of RAM? Seems to me that you could have driven the price down even further by using less RAM and a different processor.

So i wasn't the only one thinking that still nice if it was within budget, but if you really wanted to save money you could have brought them down to the same spec level as the rest of the system.

^ I'm also glad to see that I wasn't alone in this thought. To be honest, I'm surprised that he went with a 350w power supply. If it were my Mom, nothing shy of 800W would be used

I buy from NewEgg they have good service even after you pay for your items. Tigerdirect has good deals but their customer service is not up to par especially after you made a purchase.
