I've got a Custom Built machine too:
E6550 @ 2.33Ghz (Stock)
AsRock 4Core1333-FullHD Main board
4Gb RAM (2Gb Giel, 2Gb Cosair XMS2)
PowerColour HD3870 512Merg GFX Card
1 x 300Gb WD SATA, 1 x 400Gb WD SATA
ASUS Xonar D2X Sound Card
Yamaha HTIB 5.1 Digital system TSS-15
Pioneer DVD-RW
Dell 2007FPW LCD Display (20" Wide screen @ 1680x1050)
Antec NineHundred Chassis.
OS: Running Ubuntu Linux 8.04, and Windows XP Pro 32bit with PAE turned on for the 4Gb RAM support.
I need to upgrade the Linux Distro though to 64Bit, just haven't gotten around to it!
Nice machine, does what I need, can rip a DVD in under 10 minutes, and scores 9700 in 3dMark06. Plays Crysis at 1280x1024 on Medium with 4x AA at ~40FPS.

Dell have a 'Rapid Driver Release' program for this system, only problem is its not all that 'rapid'! It takes a good bit of searching around to find a decent GPU driver that will give good performance along with good stability for this SLI mobile GPU setup.
The best ones are from LaptopVideo2Go, which offers tweaked desktop drivers that will work with mobile GPUs. Once you have one that offers you good stability, you're sorted. I can hit 3DMark06 scores of around 14,000, and can play Crysis with settings on high - pretty impressive for a notebook!
The only gripe I had was the size and weight, since its more a desktop replacement - hence the reason for my max spec M1330 as well
Some reviews are very good, but others arent quite so good, and its all because of Dell's lack of good driver support. I believe Nvidia have just released new beta drivers for it though, which increases performance further....

yea its a
Asus Striker2 Formula SLi nVidia 780I
you can have 4 now if you wanted,
you can also get 8-core i believe.
There is a pc at PC-1167 : Annihilator Intel Core 2 Quad QX9775 4Gb DDR Ram 1TB Sata II & 2 x 74GB Raptor Hard Drives Dual SLi nVidia 9800GX2 DVDRW & BlueRay DVD RW. : PC Systems : novatech.co.uk
that has 4 gpu's
and 8 cpu's.
if im not mistaken.

but @ £4000
unfortuantely, having only 3 pci-e slots on my machine
means that i have no room for a sound card, and being a musician, with
sound quality a must, not having any room is a major annoyance.
hence the reason i wanna ditch the 3 gtx's and get two much better cards + soundcard.
