Based on your specs, an 800W power supply is a bit too much. I'd look instead at a quality 650W if I were you.
4GB of RAM is probably unnecessary, but it's cheap so not that big of a deal. You will only see about 3.1GB worth of that RAM if you use a 32-bit version of Windows.
As far as core 2 quad....I generally prefer the equivalently priced core 2 duo. You get more clock cycles and often a higher Front Side Bus Speed. So many applications simply don't take advantage of multiple cores...that having 4 is really not a must have.
One video card should be plenty. I honestly think the SLI rigs are a simple waste of money. In a benchmark it's better, but real world performance just doesn't justify the outrageous cost, power requirements and cooling needs.
BOSE speakers? Do yourself a favor and do a bit of research there. Bose are some of the highest cost, poorly performing speakers on the face of the earth.

@C_E_R_B_E_R_U_S
just adding onto what pparks said
i'd reccommend looking at speaker systems by creative labs.
Im very fussy on my sound, and i wouldnt choose any other brand (maybe logitech)
i have a simple 2.1 creative labs setup that just costed me £29
and its better then the phillips 6.1 surround system i used to have
Bose in-car systems are pretty good tho, not sure bout anything else mind you.

Are you serious about the Bose? All I hear is good things about Bose. I mean, I cant talk because I've never had them but, everyone seems to love Bose. Give me a link about the poor performance of Bose so I can read it for myself.

The Klipsch ProMedia setups are really quite nice as well.

No disrespect intended, but most of these people who rave about Bose sound quality have no experience whatsoever with audio and likely couldn't name 5 other reputable speaker brands. You are also somewhat proving my point..you have decided on Bose, yet have not owned or listened to them. You already believe they are great...but have no idea why...other than you have heard they are great from others? Who are these others....sound engineers, audiophiles, musicians????
Bose is heavily marketed and people have it in their head that their speakers are great. Gotta hand it to their marketing department......people just "know" that these are great speakers. Unfortunately, the sad truth is that they aren't great at all, in fact they aren't even good. Simply marginal. And for the price, an absolute ripoff.
Here is a good sign of how great they are not. Go to the bose website and look up the specifications on any of their speakers. They will give you the weight and dimensions and that is ALL. Now, look at any websites for an reputable speaker manufacturer...some brands include; (Polk, axiom, klipsh, martin logan, swans, paradigm, definitive technologies, B&W, JM Labs, KEF, sonus faber, infinity, etc) and look at their spec pages. They list stuff that matters (impedance, frequency response, sensitivity, crossover points, speaker cone material, total harmonic distortion, etc).
Do you believe that having products that are THX certified is important???? If you are a member of this camp, you may be dismayed to know that BOSE does NOT have a single product that is THX Certified. Yes that's right...not a single 1.

Having used an SLI setup myself, I completely agree with this. If I was to build/buy another system now, I would stick with a single GPU.

That seems . . . really vague. Random "greats" and no understanding. I'm not going to be mean, but point out a few things.
Asus doesn't stick to standards, known issues with PCI sound cards.
Bose as said is trash.
Laser mouses (yes, it's mouses) are poor performing for gaming w/ negative acceleration.
Vista has been updated to SP1 and had plenty of fixes and updates along the way. Give it a try, you won't get DX10 any other way (Bioshock and Crysis proves the difference is LARGE)
I heavily suggest starting a thread for those to give suggestions on this build. It seems . . . well, shaky.

I think you proved your point, they do market well, because they look the best, but looking at the links and forums, you changed my mind. You seem smart pparks1, what speakers do you suggest I get?

x2 with what pparks said,
another thing tho is that if ur satisfied, then ur satisfied,
but still....*whispers* creative labs
I also agree with shike,
Vista just seems to be getting better and better for me,
almost every night there seems to be a new update for it.
which is annoying however coz it takes a while to shutdown
I was shaken when trying it at 1st, and thought that I should have chosen xp.
but as time went on, I dont think i'd like to go back.
I do have a few issues though.
1. I cant set the computer time to synchronise with a time server, which means, if i change the time/date (which i did do) and then put it back, It wont let me log into MSN Messenger, because the date/time isnt exact.
