So, I haven't had a life for a month or so, and i've earnt enough money to get a decent laptop. But im not very good with all the computer spec. shit, I normally just go by what looks good, so im just asking if anyone can tell me if this is a pretty decent laptop.

I only really want one so I dont have to spend my whole life in my dining room, I'll mainly use it for internet, maybe some school work, porn etc. But I want one thats able to run newish games pretty well so if I get bored I can use that. I know its better than the computer im using atm, but would you say its addequate for internet/gaming now and again, and is it worth £550 (approx. $1100)?

Thats an over all pretty good computer but i dont know how good that graphic card will hold up to new games.

well as long as it can still play games like BFME and AOE and stuff like that, im not really a "hardcore" pc gamer, i just like playing some RTS now and again so as long as it runs pretty well then im ok with that. but i think this is the one ill go for.

AOE u should be able to play fine, what the other game i dont know what BFME stands for sry.

Battle for middle earth, it works fine on this computer.. and according to my bro the spec is far better on the laptop than this computer so hrres hoping i can play at least some newish games ok..ish, cheers for the input anyway.

It should play any game out now at medium settings or maybe low, i HIGHLY doubt there is anything it wont be able to play on some settings level.
Over all its not bad, you might want to take up on the 4gig if using vista and that hard drive is a tad slow if load times are of any importance.

i dont think it can handle crysis or spore maybe on low.

yeah I was thinking about getting spore.. ill have to check the spec. and hopefully ill still be able to play it, even if quite shit quality offline. but its on order anyway, and should come Friday

I think the CPU will do, the graphics card yes (6800GT min) for crysis anyway, no idea about spore, not my kind of game.
Your not running it maxed out, but it will run, its a pretty high end laptop.
