2 Laptops. Worth the difference?

I like the look of these two laptops but I don't know if I can get better for the money or what but I like the look of these.

HP Pavillion dv6907 T5750 2GB 15.4" Laptop - Tesco.Direct

and

HP Pavillion dv9821 TL60 2GB 17" Laptop - Tesco.Direct

If some people could give me some advice that would be great

It's totally dependent upon what you do with the computer. For example, if it's going to be portable....I would NEVER suggest the 17" screen. That's just too big and bulky to haul around frequently. But if it's a desktop replacement that won't be moved hardly at all, 17" is probably fine. So, like I said...it depends.

The only thing which is "future proof" is DEATH. Did I mention, I absolutely hate the use of the term "future proof".

If you're looking for a desktop replacement laptop, check out Gateway. They have the best gaming and media machines for the price.

Otherwise, I'd recommend any Dell 15 inch laptops for portability.

I would go with a different brand. Sony, Toshiba, Asus.
