Changing NAT to open
ok i have been trying to change my NAT for my xbox live form moderate to open so i can play halo 3. i have been looking at things about it and tried a few. i have gotten my default gateway and entered it into my URL bar. and i no my username and password but it isnt working. i have tried every username and password i would use. so is there any other way i can do this? this woould be a BIG help if anyone can help me

Try not writing a username/password and just clicking login.

My NAT is and always has been moderate and I haven't experienced hardly any problems with XboxLive because of it.

Same. Having it completely open helps find matches more quickly on Halo 3 but it really doesn't make a difference otherwise.

i think the password is ADMIN OR THE USERNAME IS THAT
that works for me i also have the same problem i cant private chat my mate as i have moderate

I think your problem is that your ports are blocked, NAT probably isn't the issue here.

Go to this site, PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall and pick your router, then look for Xbox Live. Then just follow the instructions on the site.
