Big help needed

Hi all

i have a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo

and when i turn it on i can here the sounds of windows starting up but the screen is still blank/black. Any1 have any ideas whats wrong??? would rather not have to pay loads of money for something that might easily be fixed

check all the wires and try it on a different monitor. hope i helped

Well since you say you can hear Windows load up, I'm inclined to say that your screen might need to be replaced. Not much you can do yourself, no warranty on it?

Hook your laptop up to another monitor, if it works then you know your screen is bad.
