loading activity noise

ever since ive used this PC ive been getting the noise of loading activity through the headphones. is there anyway to turn this off?

Are you using on onboard sound card by any chance? Headphone interference is pretty common on integrated sound cards.

The only thing which is "future proof" is DEATH. Did I mention, I absolutely hate the use of the term "future proof".
