A serious graphics card for $100
ATI's all new HD4770.

Amazing card, that can be had for around the $100 mark.

The linked review is a great set of benchmarks, all done at seriously high res. I'd be shocked if most people had a screen that could do some of the resolutions that this card was benchmarked with playable frame rates at.

At 1280x1024 or even 1680x1050 (Standard resoltuions for 17" - 22" LCDs) it would be an awesome and cheap upgrade to any gaming box.

That cooler is ulgy. A GTS 250 is only $10 more. That is a good price tho. When was the last time a GFX card released with only a $100 price tag? lol

Yep it's practically a monster for $100. You can overclock the thing to get similar results to a HD4850. I wish this would've came out sooner. Still love my dual GTX260's though.

I'm content with my 9800GTX+ for the time being, but for $100 it's a great deal for those looking to build an entry level rig.
