Free Website Hosting

Im am looking for a provider that will register free domain names and host websites for free. I dont mind if they have a subdomain like .4t.com or .b0x.com. I just dont want really long subdomains. I need them to have ftp. This was my last atempt so far. It had ftp just what I needed but the confirmation email never came. I tried with 3 different emails from different email providers but no luck.

So anyone know a free website hosting, domain registering service?

000hosted.com. I used them for a while while I as learning web design. I believe they offer free domain names too, BUT you have to have 000hosted in the URL for your domain (such as coolscooter . 000hosted . com). Alternatively pm me with details as to what sort of hosting you would like. I run my own hosting company and we could maybe cut a deal

Thanks. I have never really tried to create a website without the standard flash website builder. I have this program called website x5. I have exported my website to 000hosted.com with the correct details for the ftp service but now I have no idea how to use the uploaded files.

you might need to check with 000hosted that your software will work on thier servers. I had a phpBB forum on there that wouldn't work till I contacted them and got them to enable php and mySQL.

lolz im back and 000hosted is great. FTP, php and mysql databases on free accounts. I did know but I just needed to link to the file it was exporting .htm. I learned some html like 2 days ago and now I completely understand websites (I think). I even managed to setup wordpress. Check it out: newobo.hostei.com/blog

You will have lots of ads on your site that are unwanted. Just pay Godady $6.99 a year and your good.

Html is amazing but you should also learn css.

css is hard its like 20 lines of code for a fancy button

and my site atm is only like 20 lines in total (exculding forum and blog)
