Ethernet Cable better or worse then Wireless Adapter?
Sorry, guys. Wasn't real sure where to put this. Anyway, i'm currently using a ethernet cable hooked up from my 360 to my PC. Is a wireless adapter better then an ethernet cable? I wanna decide if I should get one or not.

If you can use a cable it's usually considered the better solution. There's no reason to switch over to WiFi unless you have to or it's exceptionally convenient for you.

Wireless is more likely to result in packet loss (loss of information), whereas with an ethernet cable, it's highly unlikely that you will have any problems.

I want your internet speed so bad!
My speed is 512kb, and can only download at 50kb/s.

Its better to have an ethernet cable. cause its easier for the network to run through versus the slightest thing in the room an interrupt a wireless signal

Thanks Guys. I'll just stick with my cable. The reason I asked is because I hate having a cable run throughout my room. Btw, I download files at 3.5mb/s

Cables are better, without a doubt. Less things to go wrong and interfere. Wireless is a last resort for me and is only used for sheer convenience. Like when I sit outside with my laptop...it's nice to connect wirelessly. However, I would never put a file server in my garage and connect it wirelessly to my home network. I would instead find a way to get a network cable into my garage.
